As soon as I am asleep tonight, she will gallop to the airport (she never walks or runs, always slinks or gallops), board a plane to Iowa, claw your eyes out, and be home before I wake up. I'll never realize she has been gone, so I won't believe you when you tell me what happened.
Sometimes she's nice for awhile, and it lulls me into a false sense of security.
She did remind me a little bit today - Mom was trying to pet her, and she just kept slapping Mom's hand away, claws extended. And then I remembered, yes, she's a bitch.
The only prayer shawl I know is the big knitted shoulder-sized ones that you wear to a church like St. Mary of the Irish Potato Famine Eleventh Catholic Church of the Holy Rosary In The Eyes Of Our Lady At Glengarrow To Whence We Escaped On The Eve Of The Blight.
