This song slays me. Sufjan Stevens can pretty reliably turn me into kindling. Anyway, I'm sure that a lot of people think the premise of this song is ridiculous, but I hear it. I don't believe in monsters. I do believe in fortune and circumstance. And bad decisions that you can't fix. And bad decisions that you can't help but build on. &c.

I'll be in SF for work in April. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys. I don't even know what we would do. I'm so used to just hitting the bars, but I doubt I'll be ready for that by then. I don't even know what else to do anymore. Worse, I'm afraid that some people have been avoiding me because they don't know what else to do either.

I thought I had more to say, but I don't.

Know what you do in SF that's a lot of fun and worth doing? Three things:

1. Go to Guardino's at Fisherman's Wharf. Eat fresh clam chowder.

2. Go to Ghirardelli. Feast on chocolate.

3. Take some nice clothes. Go to the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental Hotel after sunset. Go to the bar at the top, the Top of the Mark. Order coffee & dessert. The 360-degree view of the city is spectacular, the desserts are amazing.

Ooh, I think our hotel is by #1 and #2 maybe??? My coworker just said "that chocolate place, you know", and I didn't know.
