There are two icons that I want to make -

1. "THE WIRE" from Friday's "Dr. Who"
2. That chick from "Stroker & Hoop" who's like "That's why the Romans had vomitoriums! *PUKE* Who wants a blowjob???"

But I can't, because both shows are copy-protected, so I can't get them from the DVR onto my computer.

Srsly, who would it hurt if I could do this? Wouldn't it essentially be advertising for the shows? Come on, how many of you guys have ever even considered watching either show?

The networks need to make the jump into the 21st century. Srsly.

I already downloaded the first two Torchwoods, but now I can't remember which torrents I used (don't worry, I will most certainly figure it out).

I would like to find the motivation to download the two shows that I want icons from, but motivation is in short supply at chez bob. We'll see.

Exactly! I do have AnyDVD, but it doesn't apply here - I have a firewire connexion from my computer to my DVR, and I haven't been able to find a hack for that yet. Let me know if you hear of any. Because this shit is dildos.
