it's finally happening

the world is going mad.

infinitevoid drew our attention to this situation in Austin yesterday -

A crowd attacked and killed a passenger in a vehicle that had struck and injured a child, police said Wednesday...The man who was killed had been trying to stop the group from attacking the vehicle's driver when the crowd turned on him, authorities said...The child was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

And today this from Belleville, the next town to the east of me -

A mob of about a thousand people stopped traffic, pounded on vehicles and hurled bottles at police officers as fights erupted throughout the tiny Wayne County city.

I'm not sure how the eruption started.

Also, my hand is still red in the spot where it brushed that capacitor last night. heehee!
