Ok, I'm now going off the deep end of geekdom - I will soon have cable *and* DSL at home.
I had to do some work on a Sunday midnight a few weeks ago, and my connexion was crawling at sub-modem speeds. I actually had to PHYSICALLY go into work! I find the possibility of a repeat performance so unacceptable that I will now have two independent/redundant internet connexions at home.
And I'll use my Sun Enterprise R220 to do the grueling work of balancing between the two connexions (maybe I went off the deep end already).
