The only reason the Republicans supported it initially is they thought the stem cell was the initial one the rest of the prison was built around.......

haha. I had the exact same response when I saw this question yesterday. "God, they ask this question as if anyone on ell-jay is going to have anything new or useful to say about it."

Then I scrolled back through some of the past ones and had similar urges to answer in terse understatement to the vast majority of them.

I am too cynical for LJ writing prompts.

[identity profile] chucknoblet.livejournal.com 2009-03-16 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
imo if it can be answered yes/no it is not a good question for this purpose. Although I will admit I cheated a bit on the first question as a yes/no answer is probably not what was intended even if it is logically correct.

[identity profile] chucknoblet.livejournal.com 2009-03-16 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
(although in the end, any question that can lead to butt pictures in my lj is fine with me.)

... in the end ...

I think that stem cell research is a good thing that should not be funded by the government. Of course, I'm a libertarian, so there are a lot of things the government funds that I don't think it should.
